Last week, a reader asked why I chose to call it "Linux Handbook" when it is more on servers and devops, and not necessarily a handbook. You probably have a similar question.
When I started Linux Handbook with my French partner Sylvain Leroux, the idea was to have in-depth guides on core Linux concepts that cater more to sysadmins. That was in 2018 and times have changed.
So, now we cover devops tools with core Linux concepts. Not a handbook anymore but still as resourceful as ever.
My plan is to add more hands-on exercises, even in guides that explain a concept. The more you do it, the more you learn it. This is the best way to master anything new, even in the age of AI.
Keep a track on these pages:
Stay tuned as we create content on eBPF, GitOps, Tmux and much more.
By the way, the limited time Black Friday deal ends this week. You get $10 off on yearly and $50 off on lifetime membership (for $89 instead of $139) for the next 7 days. This is the last time you'll see such low prices, as we increase in 2026 to survive the inflation and cover the cost of new courses. Don't miss the chance; lock it forever.
